Over the years, our Rosé program has greatly expanded. Our semi-sweet style, Rosy, was the matriarch of the program - but our winemaker, Leo, wanted to expand. We created our Dry Rosé using the saignée method, and never looked back. This rosé is bold and robust, but has an incredibly refreshing squeeze of grapefruit on the finish.
A Note from Winemaker, Leo Gabica
“To make our 2021 Dry Rosé, I used a blend of 58% Pinot Noir from our hand-harvested Pinot Noir on our estate vineyard. To add volume and tannin structure I used 20% Tempranillo from our vineyard partner Quail Run Vineyard. Lastly, from our partner vineyard Pebblestone Vineyards, 15% Grenache and 7% Syrah. Both Quail Run and Pebblestone are family owned vineyards in the Rogue Valley AVA. I find that many guests enjoy rosé wines in the spring or summer, but I think this is a beautiful option year round. The Tempranillo and Syrah allow the wine to hold up to bigger dishes and cuisines. The delicate Pinot Noir and Grenache add the whimsy and elegance. I really enjoy making this wine - some vintages are lower yields for us and we can’t make as much as we want to. This was one of those vintages due to the drought conditions in Southern Oregon; I suggest you grab a case or two while you can.”

This wine is impressively versatile in food pairings - a great option to have on hand for impromptu pizza nights, catching up with friends, or with a savory dessert. We have very fond memories of our first few vintages of this wine and love watching our wine club members rush to purchase the first cases off our bottling line every spring.
